A brief description of the project, its objectives and results
The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity and competitiveness of Automatizacija Svoboda d.o.o. for services. By increasing capacity with employment and increasing competitiveness and increasing income by 15% in m+2 years, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the area of the city of Petrinja will be stimulated and, consequently, the goal of physical, social and especially economic recovery of the city of Petrinja will be achieved. The owner of the company has a vision to become a leading company for overhaul and maintenance of machines, as well as mechanical engineering in these areas.

Automatizacija Svoboda Ltd. signed a Grant Agreement on February 9, 2023, for projects financed by EU funds in the financial period 2014-2020 for the project “Strengthening the Capacity and Competitiveness of Automatizacija Svoboda KK.08.2.1.16.0131”, with an implementation period from June 14, 2022, to December 31, 2023.
The total value of the project amounts to 48,261.20 EUR, with eligible costs being 48,261.20 EUR, and the granted non-repayable funds amounting to 41,022.02 EUR.
Through this project and the achievement of its objectives, our company has laid the foundations for future development and the realization of our vision – to become a leading company in the repair and maintenance of machinery, as well as machine engineering in these areas.
The activities we have carried out include:
- Procurement of software for designing and programming machines/plants
- Purchase of mechanical equipment (milling and lathe machines, micrometers for internal and external measurement, band saw, dryer, and piston compressor)
- Acquisition of equipment for testing installations (electrical installation testing instrument, oscilloscope, thermal imaging camera, electrical energy quality analyzer)
- Acquisition of IT and office equipment (laptop, printer/scanner/copier)
- Marketing activities (company’s visual identity, website)
- Project management (preparation of project proposal, project implementation)
- Promotion and visibility
These activities will lead to the achievement of the following objectives:
GENERAL PROJECT OBJECTIVE: Strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of Automatizacija Svoboda Ltd. for services.
SPECIFIC PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Strengthening the company’s capacity by acquiring new tangible and intangible assets, and employing staff,
- Increasing the company’s visibility, and thereby its competitiveness, by developing a visual identity and the company’s website.
